“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?””
‭‭Esther‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“It was lucky you were there!”. “It must have been fate”.  Or, my favorite, “Karma”.  These are things we say to explain things that happen when they probably shouldn’t have. But the truth is, there is no luck, fate, or karma. God places us where we need to be for that exact moment.

Esther was a Jew.  She was never supposed to be queen, but there she was.  In a place to save her heritage.

Mordecai told her that one way or the other the Jews would be saved.  He knew it was God’s promise, but it could look completely different without Esther and her family.

“Who knows?”, says Mordecai, “maybe you are here for just this moment.”

So, where are you, and why are you there?

I pray we all seek the plan of God without fear or doubts.  That we trust God has placed us in the right place and the right time.
