”Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”
Revelation 12:12 NIV
Matthew 24:34 tells us that not one of us know the day and time that Christ will return. But just as we know, the enemy also knows that his time to destroy what God has planned for us in limited.
He knows his fate, and now it’s just a matter of how many he can take with him. The evil he has planned is for certain. But so is his fate!
The only question that remains is-where do I stand? Will the enemy, while losing the war, win the battle for my eternity?
Without doubt, the battle does not start when the trumpets sound. That is only the beginning of the end.
I must prepare daily for battle. Just as the soldiers of war must be always prepared, I must engage everything weapon in my arsenal to stand firm in the battle for my eternity.
Father, thank You, that like a General, you have given us all we need to defeat our enemy. We only need to be prepared to use it.
