“I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My Lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end.” Daniel 12:8-9 NIV
The Angel tells Daniel that the words are rolled up and sealed until the end of time. Meaning, Daniel has been told what Daniel needs to know. And the rest, Daniel will just have to trust God for the answers.
In some ways, it might be nice to have an angel appear to us every morning and tell us the days events and how they will turn out.
But then again, how much would we miss? How would I change my course if I knew something bad was going to happen today, even if I had been told God’s going to protect me. Would I still follow the plan? I doubt it.
I would plan a different route, leave a little later, call someone, spend the rest of the day trying to prevent it. Focusing on the problem, not the solution
Our trust in God must come from faith. Not in second guessing the plans He has for us. Building a relationship with Him is so much more important than knowing the outcome of today. The day temporary. My relationship with Him is everlasting.
Today I will walk blindly into my future knowing, and trusting the outcome is in God’s hands and He loves me.
