Zechariah 6-8; 1 John 4

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Opinions.  We all have one.  On any subject.  Just ask.  Most often people are more than happy to tell you how to feel, what to think, what to wear, how to invest your money, and the list goes on.

Almost without fail, we tend to accept, or lean towards the things that make us happy, or that we hear over and over again. We become desensitized to false teachings. They become the norm, our habits, our beliefs.

John says that we as believers already have the ability to know the difference in real and false prophet.  We need only believe that Christ lives for us because of God’s love.

One way we do that is to know the word.  It’s easy to loose sight of the truth without a relationship with God.

Who would you be more likely to believe a friend than a stranger’s teaching?

As we come to the end of the year, we are almost through with EtB 2023.   Whether you read the Old and the New Testament or either one or the either on or the other, we are proud of you for sticking with it, and encourage you to join us next year as well.  Because the only fight for the enemy is a relationship with God.

HAPPY  THANKSGIVING!  Praying for a wonderful Holiday  you and your family.
