2 Chronicles 34-35; 2 Corinthians 6

“Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.”
‭‭

What you do matters!

Paul wrote to the church in Corinth to encourage them to continue their work of service.  Service goes hand and hand spreading the gospel.

Like throwing a stone into a still stream, the ripple effect of  serving others in Christ’s name can be amazing.   But what about the effects we don’t see?

Like that stream, we see the surface of the water, but we know there are things happening below the surface. Things we don’t see.  The unseen can be just as amazing.

Even  if we can’t physically see it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.  Things being stirred up. Moving and changing.

Newton Law tells us for every action there is a reaction.

Serving others in the name of Jesus is the action, and whether the reaction is  visible or just below the surface, it’s important.

Are you willing to serve others in Jesus name today?
