Joshua 14-17; Luke 17

“Throughout Luke 17, Jesus emphasizes the themes of forgiveness, faith, and the nature of the kingdom of God, encouraging His followers to live in a manner that reflects these principles.”

Sometimes we can have a hard time with forgiveness.  We feel wronged, possibly even embarrassed.  We can rationalize not forgiving.  Maybe we have forgiven in the past and continue to experience the same treatment.  We can wonder why we “should” forgive them.

In Matthew 18:21:35, Jesus tells the parable of the man who forgave a servants debt, but the servant didn’t offer that same grace to someone who owed him.  Spoiler alert!  It didn’t end well for the servant.

Our minds, and our pride can make giving grace, especially over and over again, very difficult, but faith and forgiveness must be the foundation of our Christian life.

TODAY’s PRAYER:  Father, thank You for the Grace the You give daily.  Even minute, by minute on those tough days.  Father, make my heart like You.  Faithful, and forgiving.  In Jesus precious name -Amen

I have been wronged by someone in my life and have had bad feelings for many many years. This made me realize that if God can forgive them then so can I🙏🏼🙏🏼
