Exodus 1-3; Galatians 5

What is holding me back?  Where are my short comings in relation to walk with Jesus? What do I need to let go of, or walk away from?

In Galatians 5:1, Paul says we should “stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened by the yoke of slavery.”

What is it that keeps you from committing with your whole heart to what God is leading you to do?  Pride? Fear? Not enough belief in yourself?  Too much belief in yourself?

There is no way for us to walk with Christ sometimes.  When it’s easy.  It’s definitely not the path of least resistance!

We must “stand firm” in our convictions.  Always!

In verse 7, Paul asks,”….who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth.”  He was concerned that while the Galatians started off “running the good race.”, they got side tracked.

Have you been side tracked?  Do you question God, but believe everything you read on the internet?

My prayer is that I recognize the things that I allow myself to become stumbling blocks in my walk of faith.  That my eyes and heart are open to what is holding me back.
