Deuteronomy 27-31, Luke 12

Trusting God’s Provision:

Verse: Luke 12:22-23 – “Then Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.'”

In Luke 12, Jesus speaks to his disciples about the importance of trusting in God’s provision. He reminds them not to worry about their basic needs, such as food and clothing, but to focus on seeking God’s kingdom above all else. Jesus tells us  that life is about more than material possessions; it is about our relationship with God and living in alignment with His will.

It can be easy to fall into the trap of worrying about our daily needs.  Jesus reminds us to refocus our attentions to trust God’s word that He will provide for us.

One way to do that is through prayer.  When we pray we don’t change our situation but our perspective, and our mindset as we begin to remember that God will always provide.

Today’s Prayer:  Father we come to You during  this, the Holiest of weeks, remembering the greatest provision You have provided to us.  Thanking You for loving us more than we could imagine.  For giving us all we need and more than we deserve.  In Jesus precious name -Amen

  1. Jean says:

Today’s kids are so focused on material things. Bringing them closer to God will help them realize their relationship with God is all they need because he will provide
