2 Samuel 6; 1 Chronicles 13; Psalm 60; Acts 23

Have you ever watched a movie, or read a book, and from the moment it began, the ending was already perfectly clear, at least to yourself?

It’s hard for me to clearly see the ending of some seasons in my life. Things happen, life changes, and we can begin to think, “Hmm, well this isn’t the way this was supposed to go.”

We become discouraged, and can easily get lost in the mud and the muck. I consider myself quite the muckery (is it a word?)queen.

God has a plan, but better yet, He gave us a promise.  The same promise He gave King David.  That He would never leave us or forsake us.

In Psalm 60, we find David being attacked from all sides, and feeling quiet the pressure.  Yes, the same David who killed Goliath, and hid from King Saul, and won many, many battles before these.  The one God chose.  That David!

David knew God would carry them through.  Verse 11-12 says ,” Give us aid against the enemy for human help is worthless.  With God, we will gain victory, and He will trample down our enemies.”

David’s life wasn’t perfect, or without temptation and trials.  What it was, was blessed because of David’s faithfulness.

How do you handle crisis?  Do you run the phone? Do you call your best friend?  Who could be a better best friend to run to than God?

Be a blessed today!  I’m praying for you all!
