Brandon Cook
Brandon and Stacy started Journey Church in August 2016. Brandon is the Lead Pastor at Journey Church. He and Stacy were married in 2008 and they have three energetic children; Brayden, Dylan and Makenna. Brandon is a native of Brandon, MS and is a excited Brandon Bulldogs fan. He has a degree in business administration from Mississippi College and a masters degree in theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Brandon is an accomplished speaker, enjoys hanging out with his family and DIY projects of all sorts.
Stacy is a former bank manager, turned mom – fitness coach – and homemaker extraordinaire. Stacy currently oversees our Journey Kids environments, curricula and volunteer/leader training – while we search for the person God has called to lead our ministry to Kids and Families.
Kevin Hill
Kevin loves Jesus and desires to share the Gospel at all times. Kevin joined the Journey Staff team in April 2021 as Student’s Pastor. His wife Monica works as an educational consultant out of Jackson. Kevin enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
Together they have 3 children: Jonathan, David and Jasmine. As a family they enjoy family adventures and trying exciting new foods.
Cody Little
Cody joined the Journey team in January of 2023. He was married to his wife Heather in 2010, and together they have been doing youth ministry for over a decade. Having both grown up close to Brandon, they have a passion to see the young people of the community live for Jesus. They have one daughter, Maylee. Cody also enjoys Crossfit, which makes him too tired to have any more hobbies.
JauJuana Watts
Journey Kids Team
Stacy Cook teaches in our Explorers Classes (1st-5th grades). She also oversees all Kid World Environments, volunteers and staff team.
Jennifer Tapia is our Preschool Director and leads our 4-K5 class environment.
Chris Baker teaches in our Explorers Classes (1st-5th grades).
Kelsey Miner leads our 6 weeks – walking and walking – 3 year environments.
Eddie Franklin
Eddie is originally a Memphis native. Eddie started working in media production with his dad in the 2002 television series “It’s a Miracle” and started playing bass guitar the same year. Eddie and Amanda moved back to Pearl, MS in 2019 to raise their children close to family. Eddie and Amanda have been married for nine years and have 2 kids: Avery and Edgar.
Faith Brady
Faith serves in congregational care at Journey Church. Faith and her husband Kelly have been married for 29 years and have 2 grown children; Savannah and Sarah. Faith is a native of Oklahoma, but has lived in lots of unique places, traveling with Kelly’s Air-force career. In addition to Kelly, Faith loves the Oklahoma Sooners, Sonic Slushies and M&M’s.
