Ecclesiastes 7-9; Psalm 46; 2 Tim 3

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Growing up, we would sing a song that said, “trouble don’t last always.” The memory of that song brings up the reality that we will face troubles in this life.

How are we to deal with such?

Interestingly our troubles are not isolated to us and “our” situation alone. Troubles are going to come, but we have a refuge. We have a shelter and sanctuary in GOD. A place to be covered and a place to recover.

What trouble is facing you today? Make sure you are facing GOD while it faces you. For our GOD is a very present help in trouble…trouble don’t last always, but our GOD does.
