Numbers 30-33; Psalm 35; Luke 3
Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. (Luke 3:8)
Many can reject what we say, but it is hard to go against what they see us doing. This may be a negative thought for some. For we all know we have less than stellar moments in our Christian walk.
But understand this: Your way of life shows a lot about your relationship with GOD.
John the Baptist in Luke spoke to how historical family connections would not win them over with GOD. What would? A life that reflected true repentance (turning from sin) and living by GOD’s standards of faith in JESUS.
We are to never “fake it until we make it,” but we are to live in a way that we are moving closer to GOD in attitude and action. Why? This allows those around us to see that we are walking with GOD, and that HE is daily changing us as we submit our lives to HIM.
Prayer: LORD, in our struggles of this daily life, help us to live a repented life. A life that reflects our love and loyalty to You as our King. We know our walk with You is connected to others and we want to reflect You in all we do. Let our actions speak louder than our words…Amen.
