Exodus 35-37; Psalm 26; Philippians 4

Unfailing Love

From Exodus to Philippians God’s love for humanity is made known.

Love is patient, love is kind, and these are elements of who God is.

He is patient with us as He constructs situations and contexts where we may worship Him and connect with Him (Exodus 35-37). His love inspires Paul to say, “I love you and long to see you, dear friends, for you are my joy and the crown I receive for my work.” (Philippians 4:1)

Does our love for God and others inspire us in our work for the Kingdom? I am confident it does. Good days or bad, we love because He first loved us. We can then say with David, “For I am always aware of your unfailing love, and I have lived according to your truth.” (Psalm 26:3)

Prayer: LORD, we are eternally grateful for Your love and your care for us as Your children. At times we may feel differently than that, but help us overcome those feelings with our faith in Your unfailing Love. Amen.
