Eternal Impact

In our contemporary times, the master-slave wording may put some off or cause a misunderstanding of this Scripture. The Apostle Paul here is strictly speaking of a deep connection in his service to Jesus and that would direct his life and living. The King of his life would direct how he lived so that the purposes of Jesus would be fulfilled through him.

Eternity is always just a moment away. My mom used to tell me growing up that many people desire to know when Jesus will return, but she taught me that was His business and my business was to be ready whenever that was.

We as believers and disciples of Jesus have been given a purposeful partnership like Paul to bring people to Christ.

How do we do this?

I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.(1 Corinthians 9:23)

Notice that he did everything to spread the Good News. This means lifestyle. This means he lived with Jesus as the divine director and motivator for all his movements. This doesn’t happen overnight or in microwave fashion. This happens by living daily for Jesus, as I know you desire to do. Be Encouraged!
