Leviticus 15-18; Psalm 31; Hebrews 6

We Need Jesus

After reading that, you may be saying: Duhhh!

Yet, it is a reminder that we cannot “get right” with God without Jesus. In Leviticus 16 we read about the day of atonement, it was something directed to be done to cover the people due to sin (Lev. 16:34).

Hebrews 6:12 reminds us that through faith and patience we inherit the promises of God.

So let us always remember our continuous need of Jesus. He is the atonement we could not atone for. He is the promise keeper due to the truth that all God’s promises are “Yes” and “Amen” in Jesus (1 Cor. 1:20).

We need You Jesus, thank You for being always available to us.

Prayer: LORD, we thank You for Jesus and all He is doing on our behalf. Our need for You Jesus can never be underestimated or diluted, for we need You like we need air to breath. LORD, we thank You, Amen.

John 15:5 is one of my favorite verses. Over and over, again and again I need this reminder. Thanks Pastor Kev, for this reminder. čÖé
