Daniel 4-6; John 18

³⁸ “What is truth?” Pilate asked. (John 18.38)

Pilate asked this question. Have you ever asked this question? I know I have.

Read this: John 14.5-6

⁵ Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

⁶ Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ⁷ If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Notice how Jesus answers Thomas’ question, and also gives what Thomas didn’t ask. You see, Jesus is the way back to God, for He is the truth in a world of fallenness and falsehood. When we ask the question Pilate asked, we must turn to Jesus for the answer.

I can not speak for you, but I can speak to you. No matter where you stand in relationship to God, are you allowing Jesus to be the way, the truth, and the life for you. Not a date of salvation, but a daily walk of being sanctified by Jesus (¹⁷ Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. John 17.17). I’m pulling for ya, cause we’re all in this together!
